About me

I’m based in Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, and have spent my career working with data, systems and practical business processes.

After university, I joined Tesco’s Head Office Graduate Commercial Training Scheme. As part of the scheme, I developed an accounting system for a new department within Tesco based on spreadsheets. As part of this I completed a range of training courses, including extensive Excel training. This was where I first started using spreadsheets professionally to organise information, analyse data and solve practical problems.

I then joined the Civil Service Fast Stream in Whitehall, where I worked in a number of analysis roles. During this time, I also gained two British Computer Society qualifications: a certificate in Data Analysis Tools and another in Data Analysis Concepts.

Since then, I’ve worked in several government roles covering Management Information, data capture and analysis, and operational model design. Much of my work has involved taking complicated information or processes and turning them into something structured, clear and practical.

I’ve brought that experience together in this business to help small businesses create straightforward systems that work for them — without unnecessary complexity or jargon.
